Beauty services used to be notoriously expensive and only accessible by the privileged few. That changed 11 years ago, when the very first Bubble Gum Wax opened in Sri Hartamas. Our vision was to level the playing field and revolutionise the beauty scene in Malaysia.

The story of Bubble Gum X began in 2011, founded by Jesslyn and her business partners in Plaza Damas, a small outlet with just 3 staff. It began with a simple goal of making beauty accessible and affordable for women. Shortly after the business started, it took a bitter turn, with her business partners cheating on her and leaving Jesslyn to keep the company afloat. With nothing but faith and the painful wishes of an ex-business partner, Jesslyn swallowed their words by proving to herself that she has the ability to grow the business into its full potential.
Jesslyn's philosophy was to always know what you're doing or selling -- no matter how hard you work, if there is no heart put into your work, it's not there. With passion at the heart of the business, she decided to open her second branch in 2014 at Casa Tropicana. Taking a personal loan, despite the high interest and risk, Jesslyn trusted the process and went ahead. As the years went by, she realized that customers started recognizing the brand – new and regular customers flowed in at ease. The affordable price range paired with the hospitable and quality services made the business a safe space for her customers.
